How to Use Your WIN Member Placard for Trade Show Lead Generation

The WIN member placard is designed to be a tool for WIN members to connect with trade show attendees and collect their contact information for follow-up. The placards are individualized, featuring your company name and a unique QR code.

When a trade show attendee scans the QR code, they are served a submission form with your company logo where they can enter their contact information as well as comments and questions. The submitted information is then emailed to your preferred contact email address and stored in your WIN account for future reference.

 

Use Cases

Collecting lead information: The placard and submission form can be used to collect contact information from an attendee you have spoken with who doesn’t have a business card on hand. The form can be completed by the attendee or the exhibitor booth staff, who can add lead qualification notes.

Submitting inquiries: If attendees have questions that don’t require an immediate response, or if your booth staff is engaged and unable to speak with them, they can submit their questions through the placard submission form and receive a follow-up response from your team later.

Raffle submissions: If you are running a raffle from your trade show booth, you can ask attendees to enter by filling out the submission form, and after the trade show, you can download the csv file of entries and draw winners.

Reducing data entry: If you collect business cards as your means of getting attendee contact information, you can be faced with a mountain of data entry after the trade show. That can be significantly reduced by using the WIN member placard submission form and downloading the structured csv file afterward.

 

Data Collection and Management

The information submitted through the form is sent to the email address on record for your WIN account notifications. You can update your email preferences in your WIN account admin center > notifications.

In addition to receiving the individual attendee submissions via email, you can also bulk download them in the form of a structured csv file from your WIN admin center > Send me info archive.

Get Your Placard

At the North Coast Wine Industry Expo (WIN Expo) and Unified Wine and Grape Symposium, the WIN team will bring your WIN member placard to your booth. However, you can use the placard as a lead generation tool for all the trade shows you attend, just bring the placard with you and set up in your booth as another way for attendees to connect with you.
